System Working Principle

The PLAN 53C system is a pressurized dual-seal system scheme. It uses the barrier fluid in the closed system to cool and lubricate the mechanical seal (the barrier fluid pressure in the system is provided by the booster).

For pump-applied PLAN 53C systems, the mechanical seal shall be equipped with a pumping ring or an external circulation pump to drive the barrier fluid circulation. After heat exchange via the heat exchanger, the barrier fluid returns to the seal chamber for repeated circulation.

System Applicable Conditions

Applicable to working conditions where medium leakage to the atmosphere is not permitted;

Working conditions with dirty, particle-containing or high-temperature media;

Working conditions with corrosive, easily polymerizable or easily crystallizable media;

Working conditions with high-risk fluid media such as solidifiable media.
